Attempted Abduction by Dr. Pat

On a recent visit with Jack in the Middle East, I learned of the plight of his oldest daughter, who had just turned 13. I have known her from birth. She is a beautiful child both physically and spiritually. She often sheds tears as she prays and loves the Lord with her whole heart.

While walking home from school by herself, Jack’s daughter was approached by a man who held a needle and syringe in one hand. The man blocked her way and said he was going to drug her. He also had a knife and threatened her with it if she tried to flee. She managed to skirt around him and ran, screaming, “No!”at the top of her lungs. She ran up to an adult woman and the assailant fled.

As I mentioned, Jack’s daughter is a beautiful girl with long flowing hair.  Whether she was targeted because of her beauty or because she is a Christian, we’ll never know.  However, there were stories on the local TV station stating that some men were kidnapping, raping, and killing young Christian girls.

Since the attack, her brother or father walks her to and from school. Please pray for the young Christian girls in the Middle East, as some are being drugged, kidnapped, and in many cases, forced to become Muslims.
