The following is a recent email from Samuel, a Muslim background Believer (MBB) living in the Middle East, whom we have featured in our prayer letter numerous times.
From Samuel:
Last month was really amazing and I personally have no idea what exactly is going on in Muslim countries, to explain.
Some of you might know I am co-moderating an Arabic evangelical web forum. It actually might be the only one that is strictly evangelical in Arabic language. About five weeks ago or so I received an email from a person in the Middle East saying he used to be a Muslim and would like to ask about a few things. He was very aggressive and I thought he is still a Muslim but just claimed to have left. We talked for a few days via email, and then I got a message from him asking me where he can be baptized. I did not believe him at first but then I put him in touch with a pastor in his area. I later received information that he is going to be baptized soon.
Another message was from an Iraqi who lives in Syria who became a Christian a few weeks ago, and the third message was from a very young Middle Eastern girl (15-year-old), who told me she became a Christian and asked about some books I would recommend for her to read and study. She said she does not think she can be baptized now because of her age.
She cannot get out of her house without someone being with her, but she is spending her time reading the Bible and studying online. The good thing is she reads English very well, because she goes to an English school.
I have no idea what has been going on these last few weeks, because of the diversity of these people, their age range, their gender differences and their countries of origin. So, it seems like our gracious God is giving us a deposit of what heaven is going to look like. He is calling Muslims from all sorts of places, all ages, and all professions.
Please, please keep praying for the internet ministry among Muslims (and if you are not already praying then please start). Pray for me personally to have more trust than what I have in the ways our God works. Many times, I despair when I see the level of animosity among Muslims toward the Bible, and I nearly gave up a few times.
Pray for Samuel, his ministry and the dear souls God reaches through this forum.
