Pray for Samer a former Muslim as he proclaims Christ's love to anyone who will listen. Pray for the ministry he has tirelessly work to establish in Lebanon to help MBB's find a place of refuge. 6. Pray for Allen (not his real name) a convert from Islam to Christianity who earlier this year suffered a beating and nearly being beheaded, at the hands of radical Muslims. His grocery store was burned by radical Muslim students and he has lost everything. Pray for safety and continued perserverance for him and his family. 7. Pray for Egyptian father and daughter, Maher and Dina El Gohary who were being continually harrassed and threatened because of their conversion to Christianity from Islam. Pray that the recent revolution in Egypt will open the door for acceptance of Christians. |

| PRAYER, HOW IMPORTANT IS IT? As we meet with Christians who are persecuted, the first thing they ask for is prayer. In the 26 years that we have met with them, not once have they asked for prayer that the persecution end. Instead, they ask for prayer that they will remain faithful. They know that they will pay a price for not denying Jesus Christ. 2 Timothy 3:12 says “All who desire to live a Godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” They are standing in the gap for us, bringing Christ to the nations when we cannot. Let us stand with them in prayer. |

"There is pain,
There is hurt, But there is healing In Jesus' name A prayer away..." On your feet, on your knees Can be anywhere you please 'Cause He's only a prayer away At your work, in your car Doesn't matter where you are 'Cause He's only a prayer away. Lyrics from song "A Prayer Away" by Kent Bottenfield |
